Happy Easter, holiday of switch spankings!

Picture
For some Eastern European nations Easter Monday is celebrated with boys awakening girls by drenching them with water and  thrashing them with braided and beribboned willow or birch switches! When I'd first read about this tradition I was under the impression that it was the brothers of the girls that were given free rein to terrorize their sisters all day. According to the Wiki page it's actually a love interest that needs her mother's approval and permission for access to rouse, douse and thrash! In some places the girls get their revenge on Easter Tuesday.
The elasticity is returning to nature's spanking toys here in the Midwest as well and it's a great time to gather some. Soak them in water to make them extra supple and bind them on one end for a terrific whip! I like to wrap them in a wet towel. If you're feeling brazen you may even consider awakening your love interest with an Easter Monday spanking (water optional) and explain it away with tradition.

Update: Life on the road will have to wait. As drawn as I am to the minimalist lifestyle I've decided I'm not quite ready for it. I did move to a new apartment closer to my office. The move was pretty stressful, but my new surroundings are well worth it!

Today I'm off to Florida!

I'll be escaping my least favorite time of year in the northern Midwest. It's the start of the thaw when everything becomes a slushy, filthy mess, the temperatures can't decide which direction they want to go, and just when you begin to comply with entreaties to think Spring, Winter makes another "last" stand, necessitating yet another hour or two of shoveling (snow that would likely be gone in a week anyway).
This year the Sunshine state is calling my name with the promise of waves to (attempt to) catch and bottoms to spank!
I truly love traveling, but hate to leave my furry friends behind. I'm giving serious thought to moving into a motor home and living a nomadic life, perhaps renting houses in which to give spankings. My lease is up on my apartment at the end of this month and I haven't yet signed a new one. I think I'd keep my office and plan to get back to Minneapolis regularly.
If any of you currently or have ever attempted full-timing with felines, your input is welcome!
Cocoa Beach, here I come!

"Will you give me a spanking using only your hand?"

Picture
I find this request fairly frequently in my inbox. I don't have a problem with obliging. However, my determination to give a painful spanking coupled with my enjoyment of the reciprocal sting on my hand tends to lead to getting a little carried away.
This picture was taken months ago and my palm has healed. It was a result of having used my hand throughout a thirty minute session. I wish I'd taken it the day it happened when the blisters where bloated, bright red and threatening to pop. It was very painful. Research on proper care determined that popping them wasn't necessary (phew!) and that the blood would be absorbed back in. That proved true and eventually the blisters hardened and peeled away.
This prompted my policy regarding all hand spankings. I will go no longer than ten minutes with my hand, and if one has no interest in other implements, I'll not force it upon him, but he'll forgo the rest of the spanking. It's not that I would mind the damage to my hand, but it does take it out of commission during the healing process and I can't have that. It isn't fair to those whom I spank during that time.
Alas, the Josephine knot has proven less practical than she is pretty. The heavy, floppy knot draws unevenly upon the ropes in the handle rendering it misshapen as some tighten and others do not. I find it necessary to tug the outer ones back into place to reestablish her form after each use. Oh well.
The Jack Bootsole paddle is working nicely. It offers a different sensation (as you might imagine) from the classic wooden paddle. Like the Jo-knot it meets its target quietly, but unlike the other it has integrity.

What I really wanted for Christmas!

Picture
It was quite a few months ago that I left my number at my favorite boutique in exchange for the promise that they would call me when they next had a certain item of great interest to me in stock. I have two of the smaller versions and they offer impressive bite for such innocuous looking little things.
I finally got the call, went in to pick it up, and was not disappointed! That mouthwatering number on the left is the large Josephine Knot (about four times the size of her little sisters). A fine specimen of craftsmanship, she looks like an intricate piece of Celtic art made from black licorice ropes!
My significant other particularly likes it when I get a new implement as he gets to be the first to introduce it to a backside... mine. The first swing he took had me perplexed at her lack of sting. It turned out to have been a mis-swing. The second lash told me my money was well-spent! This one offers the type of pain that isn't so fleeting as many of my other implements.
The boutique is called the Smitten Kitten. I'm quite familiar with the Kitten's rack of tantalizing spanking toys, but while I was in to pick up Ms. Josephine, something else new and different caught my eye. Joining her on the table you see the Jack Bootsole Paddle! I don't know who came up with the concept, but I applaud the innovation! This boot sole paddle is a terrific new addition to my array of impact toys!
I'm off to Iowa today and will have Ms. Josephine, Mr. Jack and all the rest of my pain inflictors in tow.
As you may have guessed, my resolution for 2012 was to get my blog going. Check. How's YOUR resolution coming along?
